Raising Awareness About Life

Share Your World-February 13, 2017

Share Your World-February 13, 2017

February 13, 2017 ribbonrx Comments 0 Comment

This will be a weekly post of the most random of random questions to answer- to share my world! Thanks to Cee’s blog for being the brainchild behind this!

Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out? They’re tucked in at the end of the bed, but untucked everywhere else. Otherwise I feel like I can’t move around.

Have you stolen a street sign before? No, I’m not that brave.

Do you cut out coupons but then never use them? ALL THE TIME. But mostly we cut out coupons for things we use, but then end up not needing to buy them before the coupon expires.

Do you have freckles? No, but I kind of wish I did.

Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful that God has been speaking to me about some very important things going on in my life and preparing me for what direction my life may take in the not-too-distant future.

img_0971I honestly have no idea what I’m looking forward to this week. I just…I’m just done with life right now. I hate dysautonomia/POTS and everything that comes with it. I want my old life back, but statistically the chances of that ever happening are pretty close to nil.

“I want my old life back.” I have wanted this many times in my life too. I am praying for God to pour out His grace on you as you enter into whatever it is that He is preparing you for.

P.S. I’ve never stolen a street sign either!

I had to look up POTS. That sounds really miserable. I hope you get some kind of relief for this.

I understand completely wanting your old life back. I’m there, too. When the tumors were found in 2010, the surgery was supposed to fix things. Instead, what I got was further complications, significant damage, and no hope of living a life not tied to where the nearest bathroom is. Instead of going into my golden years free, I have been chained.

It is no fun living life this way, knowing how things used to be and won’t be any more. We have to find our own way to bloom where we’re planted, even though it is a garden that we never wanted to be in. You can do this. You are stronger than you think you are. Our Heavenly Father has a purpose for us to fulfill that we can only achieve by being on this road we’re on. We will have victory some day over all of this.

    Have a blessed evening.
