This will be a weekly post of the most random of random questions to answer- to share my world! Thanks to Cee’s blog for being the brainchild behind this!

With regards to puzzles, what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search, mazes, logic or numeric puzzles, something else, or nothing?

Word searches have been my favorite since I was a kid! I even bought a book of them last year to see if it would help with my brain fog. (Apparently it didn’t, because I only just now remembered that I even bought the book in the first place. 🤦🏼‍♀️) My coworkers and I used to attempt the online USA Today crossword if things were quiet. That was always a most entertaining endeavor!

List at least five favorite treats and it doesn’t necessarily have to be food.

  1. A new book
  2. A white Christmas
  3. Petrichor
  4. Hot chocolate
  5. Kitty snuggles

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

I know I’m probably in the minority here, but…I don’t like dogs. I had a bad experience with some overly friendly black labs when I was about 2 1/2 years old (I think it was the summer of 1988) and it scarred me for life. All I remember is two huge (to a toddler) black dogs running up through our front yard towards me, where I was standing on the porch. I stood there screaming and/or crying because I thought they were going to attack me! Of course, they were excited to see me and just wanted a sniff and a lick. But I never did like dogs after that.

That being said, I couldn’t get enough of Scooby-Doo growing up! And if I happen to be channel-surfing and come across “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?” on Boomerang, I’ll still watch it, even though I’ve seen every episode at least a dozen times. Zoinks!

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination

There was petrichor in the air last night. Hopefully a dent was made in our drought!

So how did you come up with your random questions? I liked them and they made me think when I was trying to answer them for myself!! Nice job!

I get them every Monday as a weekly challenge from Cee’s blog. I put a link in the first paragraph so everyone can find them if they wish! 🙂

Embarrassingly, I had to Google petrichor – learn something new every day!
I can see what that experience when you were younger would put you off dogs somewhat. Luckily it didn’t put you off Scooby because he’s pretty cool! 🙂

Haha, don’t worry! I only learned the actual definition of petrichor a few years back when it was in that episode of Doctor Who…”the smell of the earth after rain!” Before that, I hadn’t known there was a word for that smell! 🙂
