The Pain Problem

Reblogging my post from last month on the stigma of the use of narcotics for management of chronic pain, since September is Pain Awareness Month here in the United States. Please give it a read, even if (especially if) you don’t suffer from chronic pain.


Iโ€™ve been thinking about this post for awhile. Iโ€™ve been thinking about whether or not Iโ€™m brave enough to write it. And once itโ€™s written, am I brave enough to post it? Because it has to do with a stigma that is damaging to the patients it affects.
